Restricting one's shit list to one subset of a one perceived racial group lets way too many people off the hook imho

In all my day of loonacy I have seen no evidence that any one particular racial group has the monopoly on viciousness or greed. Particular classes of people, by their very nature, require viciousness and greed to ensure their continued existence, but not particular races

Not that the group Makow writes about, or comes from, is in any way heterogeneous anyway, as I'm sure many of the Sephardim resident in a certain little statelet would point out

I don't know what it is about this particular area of research but it seems to attract some extremely peculiar individuals

Names like Eric Hufschmid, David Irving, Henry Makow, 'Brother' Kapner and Jeff Rense come to mind. There are plenty of others. As well as being characterised by a tendency to take one or two liberties with their 'research' they all share a certain 'I wouldn't leave them to look after my kids' kind of thing

Another thing these characters share is that, sooner or later, they all accuse each other of being Zionist agents

I also can't help observing that whenever the views held by characters like this have come to power in human history these kind of folk do an excellent job of persecuting ordinary people but a really, really shit job of persecuting any bankers - who, in fact, actually seem to profit from the process

I can understand why people hold certain views. I've read a lot of the same material they have but I came away unconvinced

It's good practice to try and put into the words the reasons why I don't buy a particular narrative

The conspirasphere is teeming with loons who 'know' that Israelis did it. Their evidence consists of...

1. A news report of a warning given to Benjamin Netanyahu a few minutes before the attack
2. The fact that an Israeli company was responsible for many of the CCTV cameras
3. It's the sort of thing the Israeli state does

If you think about it for a second, 1) is more suggestive of someone trying to fit Israel up, 2) whilst true does not mean that Israeli is responsible for every crime committed on the tube network and 3) whilst true isn't evidence of culpability in a particular event

To claim, on the basis of this material, that Israel pulled off 7/7 rather than say 'I don't know who did it but Official Story doesn't stack up' just leaves you looking like a credulous, possibly racist berk and plays, by accident or design, into the other team's hands
