UK riots: paratroopers are trained in riot control
I remember reading about Iran/China/Egypt/Syria/[Insert Enemy du jour]/etc. being a bit violent with their respective protesters (whom we in 'the west' must support) but I'm a bit confused now because, apparently, it's OK to unleash paramilitary forces on protesters.
I do hope that nice Mr Cameron will come along some time soon and explains why protesters 'over there' must be supported and defended against paramilitary state forces while protesters 'over here' must instead be expressly dealt with by paramilitary state forces.
Unless they're looters, in which case they'll be left to rob, smash n burn for 72 hours #feedthepublictrauma
